What I do with my time directly affects my life.
What does this do to "I don’t have time to exercise. Just can’t squeeze it into my day."
Is it possible to overturn this deadly (yes, I mean deadly) trait.
I think so.
Eliminate your ‘to do’ list. Exchange it for a ‘NOT to do’ list.
- Eliminate ‘to do lists.’
- Eliminate what doesn’t make me feel good.
- Eliminate what isn’t helping me learn new skills.
- Eliminate what’s harmful to me.
Feel good
Somewhere is time for a little walk. A trip to the pool. A run up and down the stairs (don’t even THINK about getting into an elevator. If you insist, read 77 Shadow Street by Dean Koontz and you’ll NEVER get into another elevator).
New Skills
Kinesis is brand-new to Almaden Valley Athletic Club. Try it. You’ll get an amazing workout, and you can do it with several pals. Have to eliminate 20 pounds, Holly Baker’s got a class for you, TRX Shape. Check it out.
Harmful
Well, there’s a lot in this one. I could say TAXES, but what’s harmful (I think) to me, pays for roads, firefighters and libraries. So, I’ll STOP thinking like this. It’s harmful. Instead, perhaps no more Coca Cola, buttered popcorn, smoking . . .
This is hard. But I think I’ll take the Hippocratic Oath
To do no harm. To myself. Or others. I believe there’s a term for this: The Golden Rule.
