I visited the Locavores Web site and found the San Francisco Wheel, a graphic depiction of foods grown within the Bay Area, seasonal statistics, and items unique to this region.
We have Dungeness Crab, Oysters, avocados, and an abundance of citrus fruits. These are all things that the mega-worldwide corporate monopoly cannot touch. Did you know that Monsanto has developed seeds that self-destruct after one planting? Genetically altered with no known future consequences? Look out. That corn might have a hidden microphone!
